Small cliff outcrop in semi-deciduous savannah of many Leguminosae, Bursera, Pseudosmodingium perniciosim and tree Iopmea, with large patches of Zea mays ssp. mexicana on the steepest slopes and along highway. Rocky S-facing hillsides, steep and dry, with thin, light brown clayey soil
