dense damp Aboes relgiosa-Pinus spp. cloud forest with openings of tussock grassland (with Dahlia, Stenanthiella frigida, Senecio, Salvia, Lithospermum, Penstemon, Arabis, Salix, Eryngium, Geranium, Alchemilla, Potentilla, et cetera); very steep and rocky slopes
