Habitat: Bursera trees
Associated Species: Pertusaria sp., Dirinaria picta, Haematomma puniceum, Parmotrema spp.
Occurrence Remarks: responsible for much of the white coloration of the bark. With increase in diameter, the thalli tend to cause flaking of the bark.
