Habitat: In coastal rain forest and blanket bog near shore of lake and along lake edge.
Associated Species: Dominant vegetation of Chamaecyparis nootkatensis, Blechnum spicant, Cornus unalaschkensis, Gaultheria shallon, Linnaea borealis. And Tsuga mertensiana. Sphagnum papillosum, S. tenellum, & Siphula ceratites dominant in bogs, with abundant epiphytes on both conifers and angiosperms.
