Habitat:
In coastal rain forest and associated blanket bog a1ong 1ake shore. Dominant plants are Chamaecyparis nootkatensis, Tsuga mertensiana, and Gaultheria shallon, with scattered Alnus sinuata. Blanket bog dominated by Sphagnum indbergli, S. papillosum, and S. tenellum, with Siphula ceratites in the mud bottoms.
