Habitat:
On siliceous rock outcrops along river and in adjacent Tsuga mertensiana-Thuja plicata mature forest. Amphidium, Heterocladiurn, and Homalia abundant on rock faces< Brachythecium hylotapetum and Hylocomium present on forest floor and Metaneckera present as an epiphyte.
