Habitat: In coastal rain forest and associated blanket bog along lake shore. Dominant plants are Chamaecyparis nootkatensis, Tsuga mertensiana, and Gaultheria shallon, with scattered Alnus sinuata. Blanket bog dominated by Sphagnum indbergii, S. papillosum, and S. tenellum, with Siphula ceratites in the mud bottoms.
