Habitat: along sea shore rocks and in extensive blanket bog several 100 meters inland. The bog with open aspect and few trees present. Dominant bryophytes include Sphagnum imbricatum and Sphagnum tenellum. Granitic rocks exposed with Andreaea rupestris abundant.
