Habitat:
E-facing, cool, moist mossy cliffs ledges and slopes, with scattered Abies, Pinus, and Betula on the bottom of inner canyon of Arshan River; with Paraquilegia microphylla, Saxifrage oppositifolia, Tofieldia coccinea, Parnassia laxmannii, Primula farinosa, Campanula dasvantha, C. turczaninovii and other alpine taxa (here due to cold-air drainage? (at 1200 m)—timberline is 1600 m).
