Occurrence Remarks:
The common cream colored Lactarius of such situations, with more or less distinctly concentrically ringed pileus and shallowly scrobiculate stem. The pileus becomes strongly infundibuliform. The taste is burning peppery. Prof. Peck questions its reference to this species.
